This sculpture was created for an art show held at Bad Astronaut Brewery in Houston, where the theme focused on graffiti-inspired artwork. Drawing from that urban aesthetic, Fly Me to The Moon features a repurposed spray can as its centerpiece, transformed into a rocket in flight.
Accented with various metal components to form the body and structure, the sculpture also includes a dynamic flame at the rear, hand-painted with fluorescent colors to give the illusion of motion and energy. It’s a playful fusion of street art and industrial design, paying tribute to creativity, rebellion, and exploration.
