This sculpture is inspired by Dave Mustaine of Megadeth, a true legend in the world of heavy metal. During the late ’80s and ’90s, metal was at its peak—and while the genre has evolved, the raw energy and power of that era still resonate today.
Having seen Megadeth perform both in my youth and more recently, I can say they continue to deliver the same electrifying presence. This piece pays homage to that legacy, featuring a metalhead wielding a Flying V guitar—an iconic symbol of the genre.
Crafted entirely from reclaimed scrap metal and finished with a clear coat for durability, this sculpture celebrates the enduring spirit of classic heavy metal.
